• Single Account: You may maintain only one active account on the platform at any time.
• Lawful Intent: You must intend to use HappyCity for its stated purpose - forming genuine romantic connections - and not for any commercial, fraudulent, or illegal purpose.
• No Prior Bans: You have not been previously banned or removed from HappyCity for violating these Terms.

3. Account Registration and Responsibilities

3.1 Account Creation

To access premium features such as messaging and video chat, you must create an account by providing a valid email address, creating a secure password, and completing your profile with accurate personal details. Your profile information, including photographs, should authentically represent you.

3.2 Password and Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at our contact address if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. HappyCity is not liable for any loss arising from your failure to secure your account credentials.

3.3 Profile Accuracy

You agree that all information in your profile - including photographs, age, location, and personal descriptions - is accurate and not misleading. Profiles that misrepresent identity, use stock photography, or contain false biographical information are subject to immediate removal. Our verification process, detailed on our How It Works page, helps maintain profile integrity across the platform.

4. Prohibited Conduct

When using HappyCity, you agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Harassment or Abuse: Sending threatening, abusive, defamatory, or sexually explicit unsolicited messages to other users.
• Fraud or Deception: Creating fake profiles, impersonating another person, or using the platform to conduct romance scams or financial fraud.
• Commercial Solicitation: Advertising products, services, or other websites; soliciting money from other users; or engaging in any commercial activity not expressly authorized by HappyCity.
• Illegal Activity: Using the platform to facilitate any activity that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law, including human trafficking, prostitution, or money laundering.
• Data Harvesting: Using automated tools, bots, scrapers, or any method to collect user data, profile information, or email addresses from the platform.
• Malicious Code: Uploading or transmitting viruses, malware, or any code designed to disrupt, damage, or limit the functionality of the platform.
• Underage Contact: Attempting to contact or solicit minors through the platform for any purpose.
• Multiple Accounts: Creating or operating more than one account, whether to evade bans or for any other purpose.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on HappyCity - including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and the overall design and layout of the platform - is the exclusive property of HappyCity or its licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. The HappyCity name, logo, and all related marks are registered trademarks of HappyCity.

By uploading photographs, text, or other content ("User Content") to your profile, you grant HappyCity a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform. You retain ownership of your User Content and may delete it at any time by removing it from your profile or closing your account.

6. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimers

HappyCity is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the platform's reliability, availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

No Guarantee of Matches: HappyCity does not guarantee that you will find a romantic partner, receive responses to your messages, or achieve any particular outcome from using the platform. Relationship success depends on many factors beyond our control.

Third-Party Content: We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of information provided by other users, including profile descriptions and photographs. While we conduct verification procedures, we cannot guarantee the identity or intentions of every user.

Limitation of Damages: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HappyCity shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the platform. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to HappyCity in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

7. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

Notwithstanding the arbitration agreement above, either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the actual or threatened infringement of intellectual property rights.

8. Account Termination

By You: You may close your account at any time by contacting our support team or using the account settings within the platform. Upon closure, your profile and User Content will be removed from public view within 30 days, and your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By HappyCity: We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in prohibited conduct, or pose a risk to other users. Unused credits or prepaid services are non-refundable upon termination for cause.

Sections 5 (Intellectual Property), 6 (Limitation of Liability), and 7 (Dispute Resolution) shall survive any termination or expiration of these Terms.
